TikTok is launching a new screen-time management tool

As part of its digital wellbeing goal, TikTok is set to offer two new practical tools to help its growing community of users manages their time on the entertainment site.

Users will be able to take frequent screen breaks using the new features, allowing them to maintain complete control over their TikTok experience.

A new screen time dashboard will provide statistics on how much time TikTok’s creative community spends on the platform, including daily use summaries and the number of times they accessed the app.

Users may also receive weekly reminders to check their dashboard and track how much time they spend in one sitting.

TikTok users will be prompted to take a break after a set amount of uninterrupted screen time, which they may customize to their liking.

TikTok will also provide weekly digital well-being advice to its younger members.

TikTok will send a reminder the next time users aged 13 to 17 visit the app to activate the screen time limit feature if they spend more than 100 minutes on the app in a single day.
